I released the 4th story for my upcoming Sunlit Nightmares collection, "The Sweetest, Darkest Dreams", on May 1st through Smashwords. You can get it free until tomorrow (May 3rd) using coupon code JL92P. I usually release the stories as free while I make sure formatting works out, so take advantage of my backwards-ness. I will tweet/update Facebook when the story is available through other merchants.

Sunlit Nightmares will be released while I am at Con Carolina's 2012. I will be a returning guest this year and I signed up for a release party. I haven't heard back a confirmation on a release party there but no matter what it will be released that weekend.

After this collection I will begin working on a full length novel, of course I will probably keep releasing shorts though anthologies so I will always be updating. I also will let you guys know my Con schedule as soon as I get it.

Side note: Make sure you guys like me on Facebook. Most people seem to prefer Twitter but it will make me feel loved to have over a thousand on each! I am about to start updating Facebook to take advantage of the new features so get in now and you can say you Liked the page before it was cool.

I am busy getting ready for MystiCon but I am on track to finish the new story "Things Could Be Worse" ready for release on February 1st.

I also have some new photos taken, some of which you can see at Papa-Rotzzi.com. I will be updating my avatar here soon, when I do I will also be updating the website.

I would also love for you all to visit The Written Universe, they have done a  review and 13 Questions  with me.

Look forward to meeting some of you at MystiCon 2012. I will post my schedule as soon as I have it.

So I have finally started to do all of those things  I have been promising. Ready to hear some of what has been keeping me in hiding?

First I wanted to let you know that moonlit daydreams is available for free through July 31st at Smashwords. If you have not downloaded a copy yet you now have no excuse.

Secondly, those who are local to me I will be holding a "Campfire Stories for Grownups" at Oak Tree Coffee in Kannapolis on July 31st. I will be telling a story or two then opening up for others to share. I will also be holding a book raffle and 50% of raffle proceeds will go to charity.

Thirdly, I finally broke the ice and posted an intro video to my Success in Self Publishing series. I will be putting out videos every saturday for at least the next 5 weeks on different topics. Please excuse the lighting, we were seeing how well it worked (it didn't). Also, pardon my boobs.

Lastly, I wanted to let you all know that you will be hearing a lot more from me. I have acquired three wonderful assistants, all of whom I will introduce to you later, to do the background things so I can focus on writing and speaking with you guys. It will always be me on social media or this blog and if for any reason it isn't it will say so.

Lots more news coming soon- I have been busy!

I have uploaded another free short to Smashwords...and it is about ZOMBIES! *waves hands excitedly*.

I will be updating again when this and "Love's Falls" is available through retailer websites, though they are currently both available in virtually all formats.

Please share the link as many people as you can!

"Love's Falls" is finally available for free through smashwords in virtually all ebook formats. It is currently awaiting distribution acceptance.

Please share the link with your friends, family and followers. After all, it is free.

This was my first try at doing something that was not horror and I am not sure how I feel about the outcome. I am in love with the idea but have to admit that I am not 100% on the outcome. The story is as good as it could be, I would never release anything that I thought I could work on, but I just feel like it is missing something artistically.

Love's Falls was supposed to be a good sized novelette that would have hopefully been on everyone's kindle by Dec 2010.

As time restraints, and other things, pressed on I moved back the release to January of this year. To apologize for delays I decided to make it free.

Right now the much shorter, but hopefully enjoyable, story is being edited and formatted. It will be available by January 31st.

This is my first shot at something that isn't mostly horror, my first attempt to make a strictly 'thriller' collection. I am kinda nervous about how it is turning out so far and I have a favor to ask of all of you...

Download it! As soon as I have a link available, I am trying for ASAP, I will start sharing and I want everyone to download a copy and ask their friends to as well!

If you have a kindle, the kindle version will do me the most good, but even just the pdf version from smashwords would help me out greatly.

More information on the next stories, which without excuse will be over 7500 words each, will be posted within the next two weeks.

In August of 2010 I was supposed to release my first foray into 'mystery' with the story "Loves Falls". This was to be released as an eBook that would then be included in a larger print volume. I had to push this deadline back to January 1st 2011. Because I hated to do this, I decided that I will be publishing "Love's Falls" as a free eBook on all platforms.

I just wanted to say thanks for your patience and there will beore info coming soon!

P.S. Did you know a physical copy of Moonlit Daydreams makes the perfect stocking stuffer for that horror fan of yours?
